Pavilions for U™ PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
Pavilions for U™ program is a free customer loyalty program offered by Albertson Companies (“Program”) that allows the participants of the Program (“Program Members” or individually, “Program Member”) to receive weekly personalized deals on groceries, earn points on all eligible purchases, redeem Rewards for discounts on gas and groceries, receive an annual birthday treat, receive a free item every month, and more! Program Member-only perks are described in more detail below. No purchase is required to become a Program Member. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, references to “grocery banners” include the following: Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Acme, Carrs, Shaws, Star Market, Safeway, Andronico’s, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, and Tom Thumb.
CREATING AN ACCOUNT
To participate in the Pavilions for U™ program and to become a Program Member, you must create an account. There are two ways to create an account: (1) enter your 10-digit mobile phone number in an in-store PIN pad at checkout, or (2) register online at Pavilions.com/foru or through our mobile application by providing complete and accurate information. Program Members using a mobile phone number (or previous Club Card number) in-store, may earn points and redeem Gas Rewards (for fuel) or Grocery Rewards (for groceries), but in order to receive additional Program Member perks (listed below), Program Members should register their own account online by signing into their account at Pavilions.com/foru or by downloading our mobile app. Program Members who enter a mobile phone number, in an in-store PIN pad at checkout, that is not linked to an online Pavilions for U™ account may receive one or more SMS text invitations to register their account online to earn additional Program Member perks and to redeem digital offers.
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS/ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
Multiple Pavilions for U™ accounts can be linked together within a household. When such accounts are linked, the same Program offers will be received, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable offers. If you want to link or unlink your Pavilions for U™ accounts, please contact our Customer Service Center toll free line at 1-877-258-2799.
If a Program Member’s account number is used by any other person, all points relating to purchases made by such other person will be credited to the Program Member’s account. Albertsons Companies and/or its grocery banners assumes no liability or responsibility for points redeemed by any person(s) prior to a notification to our Customer Service Center that the Program Member’s account number has been compromised. Any Rewards redeemed prior to such notification, whether by the Program Member or an unauthorized third party, shall be deducted from the Program Member’s account.
Using multiple accounts to exceed limits on offers and promotions is not permitted. If we determine that a Program Member has abused any of the Program’s privileges, fails to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions, or makes any misrepresentation to us, we may, in our sole discretion, take such actions as we deem appropriate, including, without limitation, suspending such Program Member’s privileges under the Program, revoking any or all of the points in such Program Member’s account, and/or revoking the Program Member’s participation in the Program, in each case, with or without advance notice to such Program Member and without liability to Albertsons Companies and/or its grocery banners.
EARNING POINTS AND REWARDS
One point will be awarded for each whole dollar spent on eligible/qualifying grocery and pharmacy purchases, and two points will be earned for each whole dollar spent to purchase eligible gift cards. For example, if you spend $5.25 in a participating Albertsons Companies grocery banner store while using a Pavilions for U™ account, you will earn 5 points. Each 100 points earned within a calendar month will be converted into one Reward.
Eligible/qualifying purchases exclude: (1) alcoholic beverages and tobacco products; (2) fuel and automotive services; (3) bus/commuter passes, fishing/hunting licenses and tags, ski/amusement park passes, stamps, money orders/transfers, lottery/event tickets; (4) any financial instrument that can be redeemed for goods or services at participating Albertsons Companies grocery banner stores—including (but not limited to) gift certificates, money orders/transfers, and gift or debit cards issued by American Express®, MasterCard®, Visa®, any bank, or any Albertsons Companies grocery banner store; (5) phone cards; (6) all fuel gift cards, including but not limited to Chevron and/or Texaco; and (7) all fluid dairy items in the refrigerated dairy section—including fluid dairy substitutes, depending on state and local laws. Bottle/container deposits, sales, and other tax payments, fees, and other charges, if applicable, are not purchases and are not eligible to earn points. Also, only out-of-pocket pharmacy costs (e.g., prescription co-pays) are eligible to earn points.
REDEEMING REWARDS FOR GAS (not available in the Jewel-Osco market area) OR GROCERIES
Our fuel stations are available in select areas only and not all fuel stations participate in the Program. Gas Rewards may only be redeemed at participating fuel stations and may not be redeemed in the Jewel-Osco market area. To find a participating fuel station, click here. For Gas Rewards, one Reward equals 10 cents off per gallon at our fuel stations. Gas Rewards savings in a single fuel transaction are limited (i) to 25 gallons for one vehicle per transaction––subject to rounding for applicable fuel transactions and (ii) to the maximum per-gallon Gas Rewards discount available at our fuel stations (usually 20 cents per gallon) and $1.00 off per gallon at in our fuel stations. To use Gas Rewards, you must establish eligibility by entering the phone number used to register your Pavilions for U™ account before pumping fuel. Gas Rewards will be available for use at fuel stations approximately one hour after being earned.
Grocery Rewards are available only in the stores that offer such rewards (e.g., if a Grocery Reward is offered by our Southern California Vons stores, that Grocery Reward will not be available at other Albertsons Companies grocery banner stores). Once you elect to redeem Rewards toward a Grocery Rewards offer and confirm your selection, the applicable Rewards will be deducted from your Pavilions for U™ account and cannot be reinstated or used for another Grocery Reward item or for Gas Rewards. You may claim the item or discount to which your Grocery Rewards are applied through the end of the following calendar month (e.g., Grocery Rewards items selected in April as part of an online order are available for delivery or pick up through the end of May).
There may be a lag between the time when you redeem your Rewards and when your Rewards balance is updated. Attempting to reuse Rewards that have already been applied to offer(s) may result in a negative Rewards balance until you accumulate enough Rewards to eliminate such deficit.
REWARDS AND POINTS EXPIRATION
Gas Rewards and Grocery Rewards earned during each calendar month may be used only until the end of the following calendar month, after which such Rewards expire (e.g., Rewards earned in January expire at the end of February). Moreover, any remaining Point totals less than 100 points expire at the end of each applicable calendar month.
TRACKING YOUR POINTS AND REWARDS BALANCE
You can track your points and Rewards balance through a participating Pavilions mobile app or website, or by reviewing the receipt from your most recent purchase.
In the event of a return/exchange of any eligible/qualifying purchase that initially earned points, such points will be deducted automatically from the Pavilions for U™ account that was used for the eligible purchase (whether or not the account number is presented at the time of return and/or exchange). Points will be deducted at the same rate as they were earned.
Upon the return and/or exchange of products awarded through the redemption of points, all redeemed points will be forfeited.
VALUE/TRANSFERABILITY OF POINTS
Points have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. The accumulation of points does not entitle Program Members to any vested rights, and Albertsons Companies and/or its grocery banners do not guarantee in any way the continued availability of any Rewards, redemption level, rebate, or any other benefit. Albertsons Companies and/or its grocery banners assume no liability to Program Members for the addition or deletion of items in their Pavilions for U™ account for which points can be collected and/or redeemed.
Points cannot be assigned, exchanged, traded, bartered, purchased, or given by gift or otherwise sold or transferred. Any points so acquired will be void.
PROGRAM MEMBER PERK - PROGRAM MEMBER PRICE
As a Program Member, you will be eligible to receive Program Member price discounts on products that are available for purchase in our stores and/or online at participating Albertsons Companies grocery banner stores (Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Acme, Carrs, Shaws, Star Market, Safeway, Andronico’s, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, and Tom Thumb). To receive these Program Member price discounts, you must use your Pavilions for U™ account number at checkout or the phone number you used when registering for your Pavilions for U™ account.
PROGRAM MEMBER PERK - BIRTHDAY TREAT
At the beginning of each month, qualifying Program Members will be eligible to receive a birthday treat offer (up to $10 value) placed into their Pavilions for U™ account. It’s our way of celebrating our Program Members’ birthdays!
To qualify for a birthday treat offer, you must add your birthday (month and day) to your Pavilions for U™ account and have used your Pavilions for U™ account to purchase an item in-store or online within the last 12 months prior to the offer being added to your Pavilions for U™ account. A birthday treat offer will be made available for you to add to your Pavilions for U™ account at the beginning of your birth month. You may redeem the offer in store or as part of an online transaction prior to the expiration date specified on the offer. Review the applicable offer details for additional terms and restrictions.
PROGRAM MEMBER PERK - $5 OFF $25 WELCOME OFFER
As a new Program Member, you will receive a welcome offer of $5 off your next in-store or online purchase of $25 or more of qualifying items in a single transaction within twenty-one (21) days of creating your Pavilions for U™ account. The offer will be emailed to you shortly after registering for the Program and placed in your Pavilions for U™ account. The offer does not apply to online order scheduled for delivery or pickup after the offer expiration date or to orders fulfilled by Instacart. Online orders require a minimum purchase. Previous just for U® program members are excluded from receiving this offer. Minimum purchase amount is calculated based on subtotal of all qualified items at checkout after deduction of all other coupons, savings, discounts, taxes/fees, and excludes alcohol, tobacco, fluid dairy. Limit 1 per household. One time use. May not be combined with other offers. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the offer and/or to correct typographical errors.]
PROGRAM MEMBER PERK - FREE MONTHLY ITEM
As a Program Member, you will be eligible to receive an offer for a free item (up to $10 value) once per month. To receive a monthly free item, add the offer to your Pavilions for U™ account prior to the expiration date specified on the offer. You will be eligible to receive your first free monthly item starting at the beginning of the month following the month in which you registered for the Program. You may redeem the offer in-store or as part of your online transaction prior to the expiration date specified on the offer. To continue receiving monthly free item offers after redeeming your first monthly free item offer, you must have used your Pavilions for U™ account to purchase an item in-store or online within the last 12 weeks prior to the offer being added to your Pavilions for U™ account.
