Great Ways to Enjoy: Puree roasted beets and stir into softened goat cheese; season with salt and pepper. Spread on toasted baguette slices. Toss prepared beets, fennel, celery, artichoke hearts, and apples with sherry wine vinaigrette for a crunchy salad. Saute in olive oil with minced garlic; add to an omelet along with crumbled feta cheese. Dust diced beets with cornstarch. Directions Keep frozen. How to Prepare: Oven: Toss frozen beets with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Place in a single layer on a pan and roast at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. Microwave: Place frozen beets into a covered microwave-safe dish. Cook on high for three to four minutes. Microwave heating times may vary. Season to taste. Store at or below 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C). For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To return highest quality and texture, do not overcook.
