Directions Cooking Directions: Stove Top: 1 cup dry rice = 3 cups cooked rice. 1. In a saucepan, bring desired water and rice to boil. 2. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes, remove from heat and let stand, for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. 3. Remove from heat & fluff with a fork before serving. Serving (3/4 cup of cooked rice): 2: 1/2 cup rice; 1 cup water; 1/2 tsp butter and salt (optional). 4: 1 cup rice; 2 cup water; 1 tsp butter and salt (optional). 8: 2 cup rice; 4 cup water; 2 tsp butter and salt (optional).
