Recanati Petite Sirah Zinfandel Reserve Wine - 750 Ml
Petite Sirah-Zinfandel, Galilee Israel, 2009
80% Petite Sirah. 20% Zinfandel. Lenny Recanati, whose Italian heritage lies at the heart of his passion for quality winemaking, is proud to present this captivating blend of a classic Old World grape, Petite Sirah (80%), with Zinfandel (20%), a variety identified with New World wines. Grapes for each originate in the vineyards of upper and lower Galilee, where Israel's Mediterranean climate and alluvial soils provide ideal growing conditions. Aged eight months in American oak barrels, the result is a fragrant, spicy, concentrated red with a fine backbone of acidity and long, feathery tannins. This is a wine for hearty dishes - cassoulet, roast goose, duck, steaks and wine-based stews. - L. Recanati. Produced by Recanati Winery Emek Hefer, Israel, Sole US Agent. Kosher for passover supervised by Rabbi Eliezer Simcha Wiess, Kfar-Haroe. Alc. 14% by vol. Product of Israel.
