Stove Top: For every cup of mixed vegetables, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil. Add mixed vegetables, bring to boil, cover and simmer until tender 6 to 8 minutes. Microwave: In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 tablespoons water to 1-1/2 cups of mixed vegetables. Microwave covered, on high 4 to 6 minutes, stirring once. Steam: Place mixed vegetables in steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam until tender, stirring once. 1-1/2 cups of mixed vegetables will take about 6 to 8 minutes.
