Directions 1 cup uncooked rice mix, 1-1/2 cups water, 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional), 1 teaspoon butter. 1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil; stir once. 3. Cover with a tight fitting lid or foil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. 4. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) for 5 to 10 minutes. Yields approximately 2-3/4 cups of cooked rice.
